*Have you ever wondered why gunk gets in your
hair so easily and why your split ends get frayed so easily. Well not to be gross or
anything but before you shower once a week mix two eggs and spread over the top of your
roots after 2 minutes rinse out then use a half cup of mayo on your ends. Rinse after 2
min, then shampoo and style as usual.*
*Hey
girls you ever want your lip gloss to stay on?! Here's your chance, no doubt about!
(It truly works) Step1. Apply Chapstick to your lips and leave it on for 5 mins. Step2.
Once 5 mins are up, take a damp, warm washcloth and wipe it off and wait till your lips
are dry. Step3. Apply Chapstick again to your lips and then apply the lipgloss now.You
will will love me, it will stay on for a very long time. Trust me I used to have the
problem where every 5 mins you put on lipgloss but with my 1.2.3. step I surely did not
have that problem anymore.
Now lets talk about make-up! Girls we all know what make-up can do but its not all about
the cover-up.You don't want to cover up your beauty no matter how ugly or pretty because
the true beauty is natural. I ask a majority of guys at my school and the thing about it
is they hate girls that wear make-up. Whether you're ugly or not they said beauty comes
from the heart not from stuff you buy at the store! I'm not saying stop wearing make-up or
that it's gonna make you ugly but applying very little to enhance your beauty is fine!
Oh yeah to the problem that most of use have -pimples! I know a special way to
get rid of them all you have to do at night is apply toothpaste to them and just go to
bed.*
*Dry/flaky
skin tip: If you have REALLY dry skin and you can see dead skin hanging on your face I
suggest you do this: when you're in the shower, get a small washcloth, get it really nice
and wet and then ring it out and scrub your face with it, do some circles and straight up
and down moves......all over your face, ever inch and cranny.....make sure to use good
pressure and I assure you that you will have FLAKE FREE skin for like a day or
two.....TRUST ME IT WORKS REALLY GOOD, especially if you're going to wear makeup after you
do this......- Ma*
*How to apply blush stain: You should exfoliate
your skin with a scrub. A smooth surface keeps the stain from splotching! You
can use an oil-free moisturizer after that. Find the apple of your cheeks, to do
this, smile and line up your index finger with the end of your eyebrow. The apple
ends where your finger and your cheek meet! Using a makeup sponge, dab the blush
stain onto the apples of your cheeks, not along the cheekbones. Use your finger to
blend in the stain using a circular motion around the apple. You have to hurry or
the stain will stain before it's even blended in!*
*To you
ladies who wear dark colors, it's always nice to have dark brown (or whatever color you
use) then go lighter as you work it in. Also it always looks good when it looks natural so
if you want to look your best wear a color that brings out your eyes. Blue eye shadow
makes people look goofy - if you're going to wear blue (or any other outstanding color)
mix it in with a more natural color. Also when you apply your eye shadow sometimes its
blotches on the top so if you take your finger and rub it on the top until it's all
blended it looks natural and it also gives under your eyebrows a little color.* -Keri
*Hey this is the best way to look your best.
OK, first when you have lots of pimples get eggs and vinegar and stir together, then just
rub it on with a wash cloth and then rinse it off. The next day your face will be acne
free! I did it and my face is so pretty.* - Alex and Kristin
*When you're putting on cover up to make it
more natural always try to blend it in while going down. Make sure that underneath your
chin doesn't have a real noticeable line from where your foundation quits!!!*
*If your feet
are feeling tired or just need a pedicure then put 1 tablespoon of coarse salt, 1
tablespoon of table salt and the same of sunflower cooking oil into a bowl and mix with
fingers to create a paste. Then massage it into feet and even hands too.Wash off in the
bath or a bowl of warm soapy water and they feel really soft.* - Chloe
*DON'T POP PIMPLES!!! They will leave scars, and it will bring out more
redness!! If you have a pimple unless you pop it or mess with it the color shouldn't be
too noticeable under your foundation or cover up. But if your pimple is red, simply hold
an ice cube to it for a couple minutes or so. this will draw the blood away from the area
for a less noticeable color :-). And if you insist on popping the pimple, wash it before
and after, this keeps bacteria and other crappy not good for skin type stuff out of there!* - Flo
*When you apply your liner, use a black or gray!
Apply only on the outer corner, starting with a thin line in the center of the bottom,
thickening the line as it gets closer to the end, and then the same method on the top lid.
Lightly go over the liner with your ring finger, this will make a misty
soft appeal. The outer half of the eye lid, in the crease, as well as underneath
the brow... put a darker color of your choice, a lighter color in the center, and close it
off once you get to the inner corner of the eye with a light shimmery color (all colors of
your choice). Top with a light shimmer. avoid eye lash curlers, and if you use them...
clean them constantly!!! The old mascara left on it will pull at your lashes!! Also
for your skin, drink tons of water... this will help with your skin's elasticity which
will prevent wrinkles.. and clear your complexion!!! These tips work man!! Try them :-),
And for lips, don't glob lip gloss.. get a shimmer lip gloss and only use a dab if you
want shine, and for a pouty look only apply lip gloss to the center of the bottom lip!!
For lasting lip color apply lip stick to bottom and upper lip, and rub in with
finger... then blot on a tissue. Then reapply and put a light layer of clear lip gloss
over it! Your color will be on for a while!!- --<<.o0o.>>!kiss * kiss!..* - Flo
*Hey!
My name is Ashleigh and I have a make up tip for you. Here it goes! When I go to school
every morning... I put on my lip color and everything else first. Then I put on my
mascara. After that, THEN I put on my eyeliner. I put it across the bottom until it is
about half a centimeter away from the inside of my eye. On the top, I just put a little
line on the corner of the outside of my eye. Do not extend it any further than the end of
your eye or you will look like a catwoman. Since my eyes are dark brown, I use black
eyeliner to bring out the brown in them. AND PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not use blue
eyeliner. It is very unattractive. But with my eyeliner tip...you are sure to get a lot of
compliments! ;)* -
Ashleigh
*For healthy looking skin...when you come
out of the shower and when your skin is damp apply a gentle moisturizing lotion and dab it
dry with a towel. Then apply foundation or cover up where needed (it will make your face
look natural and not cakey).* - Miranda
*Hey there all you beauty queens! A little advice
from the master here! Ok, are you trying to show off those beautiful eyes that you've
got? Well, I would like to suggest putting eye shadows lightly under your eyelashes
(the bottom ones). I have crystal blue eyes, and I put a bright turquoise underneath
my eyes, like eyeliner. Everyone complimented and my eyes really became the center
of attention! But if you have darker eyes, I suggest a bright pink.* - GoBragh
*A great makeup tip for
blush is: always apply blush starting first at the part of your cheek next to your
hairline, not the "apple" part of your cheeks like most beauty experts say. If
you apply it to the apple of your cheeks first that's where all the color ends up and it
doesn't look very natural. Start at the outer part of your cheek and work in toward the
apple of your cheek. Another good tip is to use an eyebrow brush on your eyelashes after
you have applied mascara. This brushes out clumps and leaves lashes looking full. Just
simply swipe the eyebrow brush upward. Another good tip is to use an eyebrow brush on your
eyelashes after you have applied mascara. This brushes out clumps and leaves lashes
looking full. Just simply swipe the eyebrow brush upward. Hope these helped!* - Samantha
*When you
really want your eyes to stand out then do this. Put a THIN line of black eyeliner on the
top of your eyelids and above the eyeliner put a light/medium brown eye shadow. Then put a
thin line of eyeliner on the bottom of your eyelid and dab it with a Q-Tip so it goes a
little bit under your eyelashes. This look makes you look great no matter what color eyes
you have. I do this myself and I have blue eyes and I also do my sister's makeup and
she has brown eyes and we both get compliments.* - Leah
*Hey girls, well if you want natural bronzed look,
then mix a light shimmery colour with a deeper shimery bronze colour and put all over
face (evenly, not to look orange). Then once you're done get a light pink blusher, smile
and colour your cheek apples. Once you're done it will look girly, feminine, lush and
summery! Perfect to get you noticed - I get tons of compliments when I wear my makeup like
that, you should try it. Also give eyes a smudgy dark look and use a natural pink clear
lip gloss for night time..ultra sexy! Good luck with it!* - Love, me!
*Summer is here and we all want to achieve the "Beach
Babe" look. I have some tips to get this natural sunkissed look easily and it
only takes about 15 minutes. First you apply a sheer foundation all over your face,
preferably with an SPF of at least 15. This will even out your skin tone for a clean and
fresh palette. Ok, now you should apply a nice bronzer on your cheek bones, nose and the
center of your forehead. You want to apply the bronzer on the places where the sun
naturally hits your face. Now you should curl your lashes to open up your eyes. Hold the
eyelash curler down for 15 seconds. Now apply 2 or 3 coats of black mascara from the
inside out to get full lashes. For the lips you should get a bright pale pink with a hint
of brown and some clear gloss. You first dab the lipstick and then press a piece of tissue
paper to keep it natural. Last apply a thin coat of clear gloss to your bottom and top
lip. If you want your lips to appear fuller dot a bit of gloss to the center of your
bottom lip. Now you have pouty, kissable lips, big beautiful eyes and a natural glow!* -Jessica (Beach babe lol)
*My de-spotting tip is...if you eat too much chocolate then
it gives you spots! So stop eating your usual amount of choccy and de-spot yourself!!!
Drink lots of water...as good as it is for your mental mind, it helps to decrease your bad
facial looks.*
Drinking lots of water is one
of the best tips you can give - it helps you inside and out! And, for all of my fellow
chocoholics out there, I'm happy to report that the old chocolate - acne connection is
just a myth!! So, while it may not be great for your waistline, your skin will be no worse
for indulging :)
*If you want that "oh so soft skin" then
use a lavender body wash. Works like a charm! If you rub talcum powder on your body
after a shower it dries up the moisture and saves you wetting the towel! The best way of
keeping the cracks (on your lips) at bay is to smother Vaseline all over 'n' around them
and leave on overnight. If you want your hair to re-gain lost bounce, then dry hair upside
down. Use Vaseline Intensive Care on your nails, three times a day to keep them growing
and to make them stronger. Use cuticle remover every night, to keep those cuticles down.
Use moisturizer to keep your feet nice. Use eye gel every night (from Avon), to
reduce those big shopping bags and sleepy puffiness.* - Joanne and Alison
*When washing your hair, be sure you don't use hot water. Stick your
hand under the water first to determine whether or not it's too hot. Hot water causes your
hair to go limp. It can also cause strand thinning (when a strand or group of strands
begin to get thinner).*
*Never use the same color eye shadow as the color of
your eyes, because it will compete with your eye color , and don't use too many dramatic colors because you will never see your
natural beauty. If you have beautiful lips use a soft color or not too dramatic.*
*Have you ever really liked a lip shade but it just was
too dark or too dry and cracky? Well, I found a secret that will solve it. What I do
is I get a Q-tip, cottonball or just my fingertip and add a little baby oil and work
it into the lipstick. But before you do that you need to lightly cover the bottom
lip with the lipstick. Liner:- Eyeliner is always clunky and really not pretty - I prefer
a wet eyeliner that is not a stick but is a liquid eyeliner. It works best and goes on
without a tug or tearing out eyelashes.* - Nikki
*If
your lips are chapped or kind of crusty I have a great tip for you. After you brush your
teeth rinse off your toothbrush and gently scrub your lips with your toothbrush. It
gets rid of all the dead skin cells and makes them soft and silky!*- Paige
*If you are
going to put on foundation then put a moisturizer on first - it helps the foundation go
onto your face nicer and makes your skin soft.* - Lilly x
*If you have really large eyes like I do... then try this tip. Put
a thin line of dark brown or black eyeliner on top of your eyelids and try to make it
a tad bit thicker on the outer corner of your eyelid. Then put it on the bottom as well.
This will make your seem more deep and make them stand out in a really nice way. Once the
eyeliner is on, put a light skin colored/off white eye shadow underneath your eyes, then
put a gray shade of eye shadow on your eyelids starting on the outside and making it
lighter as you go inwards. Then put a coat of curling mascara on the top but not the
bottom. I swear this will look awesome and make you feel more confident about yourself.
But make sure you don't overdo it.* -Cierra
*This is kind of a makeup tip but kind of not. All you need to
do to get the perfect outfit is only wear 3 colours at a time e.g. pink top, denim jeans
and white hoody! If you match the colour of eye shadow to your t-shirt then you are
perfect!* - Lorna, Style
sista!
Thanks Lorna, keeping
it simple is always a good thing :) Just remember to use common sense when coordinating
makeup to your clothes - sometimes it's best to stick with the shadow colors you know work
with your own coloring, even if they don't quite match your clothing.
